Curious Question Empty Curious Question

Post by Phluxor Wed Apr 09, 2008 4:19 pm

Just wondering how secure these forums are, as far as having claims/discussion hidden from non registered users, and are users required to be "accepted" by the admin before allowed to access forums. I saw when I was logged out I couldn't see the tribe family forums for claims n such but I don't know if any random person can come up register login and then view our claims and return the information to enemies.

i don't think they are very secure any one can be join i don't think he/she or she has to be accepted to join so anyone has to be accepted they just join, so anyone could be reading this, i could even be a spy as far as anyone is concerned (however i am not i am duke of NBWL-A)

Most boards allow administration of forum to restrict access to registered members, and registration require admin authorization. If we don't know them, we don't authorize them.

Also players who have joined the tribe registered then left the tribe could possibly still see these forums so i would try keep most things on your tribe forums.

this is not a complex forum, it is made so that people can use and make them easily it is not to keep people out, im sure there are some ways, however the fact remains that if you have anyhting that is of valuable imformations then you had better PM (private message) it to those you trust!

I think that's probably the best way to do it.

when i registered there was nothing stopping, or no check, (that i know of, at least not an immediate one) so anyone could register and get private imformation
